  • Rotation mode provides gentle, side-to-side, continuous lateral rotation therapy (CLRT) to aid in the prevention and treatment of pulmonary complications related to immobility

  • Percussion and vibration therapies can be done separately or together as a sequential treatment. Treatments can be done with the patient in the supine or the right or left side lying positions to facilitate postural drainage or in conjunction with CLRT.

  • The surface uses input from the bed scale system to adjust the cushion pressures based on the patient’s weight

  • The Graphical Caregiver Interface (GCI) is located on the intermediate siderail next to the caregiver control panel

  • Head angle indicators mechanically indicate the angle of the head section from –15° to +80° with respect to the floor, and the head angle alarm lets the caregiver set an alarm to sound if the head section goes below 30° or 45°

  • When the three-level bed exit alarm system is activated and it detects an alarm condition, an alarm will sound and a message will show on the GCI. You can silence, suspend, resume or turn off the alarm.

  • Using the FullChair Patient Position Mechanism, the caregiver can place the TotalCare Bed System in one of three basic chair positions: Chair, Chair Egress, and Recliner

  • The Boost Position System assists the caregiver in moving the patient up in bed.

  • Turn Assist mode assists the caregiver in turning the patient for linen changes, dressing changes, bedpanning, back care and other nursing procedures

  • IntelliDrive Transport System allows the caregiver to propel the TotalCare Bed System during patient transport with minimal applied force

  • FlexAFoot retractable foot control allows the TotalCare Bed System to customize the length of the sleep surface to the patient

  • Emergency Trendelenburg feature is capable of achieving up to a 20° angle if the bed is in the full height position

  • When the CPR function is activated, the surface will go into Max-Inflate mode

  • You may view patient history data from the GCI, including rotation, percussion, vibration, head angle, weight and more

  • RemindMe alarms can be turned on to alert the caregiver that Percussion and Vibration or rotation therapies have been stopped for a set period of time
